Martha Carol | Pianist

Martha Lynn Carroll has served at Peachtree Corners Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church as pianist since 2012, as well as Interim Director of Music for several years. Prior to this, she served as pianist and worship leader for other churches around Atlanta and Syracuse, NY since 1992. Martha earned her Bachelor of Music in Composition with Honors in Piano Performance from Syracuse University and has composed and arranged many choral anthems and vocal and instrumental hymns over the years. Besides playing piano, Martha occasionally plays violin, cello, harp, guitar, and organ during worship services. She also offers private music instruction for piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, and composition, and currently plays violin in the Symphony of North Georgia.

When she is not teaching, performing, composing, or homeschooling her two children, Martha serves as author, editor, and artist for the Imagine Role-Playing System. She is also the author of the fantasy novel Diamond Lake and its sequels. She is a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do, enjoys rockhounding with the Georgia Mineral Society, and loves cooking foods of all cultures, especially Indian and Japanese. She lives in Canton, GA with her family, along with their two orange cats and a conglomeration of fish, crabs, snails, and shrimp.
